First-time iPhone or iPad setup

Open this site in Safari, use Share → Add to Home Screen, then open Spotter Skies from that icon to enable notifications. Requires iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.

Alerts cover new or updated key flying highlights, plus occasional site announcements and test messages from Spotter Skies. Routine notices stay in the full lists on each airfield page.

These settings apply to this browser or installed app. Favouriting an airfield does not subscribe you to alerts. Keep browser notifications enabled; Focus mode and device settings can delay them.

How to add it to your device

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open this website in Safari and tap Share (you may find it in the menu).
  2. Choose Add to Home Screen. Keep Open as Web App enabled if shown, then tap Add.
  3. Open Spotter Skies from your Home Screen.

Android

Open the browser menu and look for Install app or Add to Home screen.

Computer

Look for the install option in your browser’s address bar or menu. If it isn’t available, you can bookmark the site and keep using it normally.
